Canada 150th Activities
The Ontario Government is supporting events and programs across the province that showcase our diverse communities and encourage Ontarians to get involved and celebrate. The Ontario Government sought out partners in a wide array of sectors to create key signature initiatives that will honour our past, showcase our present and inspire future generations.
Parks Canada is inviting Canadians and visitors from around the world to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary at our national treasures from coast to coast to coast. To mark this special year, Parks Canada is offering free admission to all Parks Canada locations, and we want you to join us for the celebration. Parks Canada is pleased to offer free admission to our places, however, regular fees still apply for other experiences and services, such as:
- Camping, backcountry, and other accommodations
- Reservation fees
- Guided tours and hikes and programs not usually included with admission
- Some special event fees
- Backcountry overnight use
